I’m never going to leave my TV …

True Blood Season Finale is this coming Sunday and it looks delicious.

Vampire Diaries Season Premiere is next Thursday and it also looks delicious.

Supernatural Season Premiere is 2 weeks from today and, well, it looks delicious as well.

Bye Bye Productivity.

What would your shift be?

…I’d be a flying squirrel !!!

But seriously … how baller would that be ? You could pretty much fly from point A to point B (well, glide, but at this point I don’t care), and you could be adorable and scurry everywhere ! I’ve always wanted to scurry ….

New J-O-B + Misc. Book Stuff + Life Update

So after a 7.5 hour first day training session, I’ve decided that although this new job may be delightfully exhausting, it will also be a total blast ! McMenamin’s has a fast-paced atmosphere that I enjoyed immensely and with the million and a half events they are continually hosting, I will not have a single minute of down time at this job.

Working as a server is a difficult job — anyone who’s ever worked in food service understands that a 5 hour lunch shift is equivalent to a 10 hour shift at a “normal” job.  And it’s literally like going to the gym — after running countless trays laden down with food and trekking across the property taking orders, a typical server walks many miles (in fact, I may attach a pedometer to myself one of these days just to start keeping track)— you burn off whatever you’ve had the time to eat during your shift.  But this is why I love it so much.

Also, I’m seriously thinking about going back to school.  I know I JUST finished undergrad but after obsessing over my obsession for the past decade (the supernatural + its origins), I’d like to go back and start a Ph.D. with a focus on literature, folklore and the supernatural.

I just miss it.  I miss discussing literature.  I’m going to finish off the stack of books currently dominating my nightstand, including current read “Escaping the Twilight,” “Finnegan’s Wake,” “The Grapes of Wrath,” several racehorse biographies, and the Blue Bloods series.  Then finish the Hunger Games series.

Then onto finishing the Hemingway collection (few novels remain that I have not read teehee), and then onto pursuing the supernatural…. I may also reread “Dracula” at some point in there …

But, no time for reading until I’ve passed all of my exams at work and have finished season 2 of The Vampire Diaries … also True Blood Season 4 Premiere is Sunday … my life is freaking amazing.

All of this while riding 2-4 horse a day and soaking up the sunshine :)

Day 18

I can’t just pick one show … but the majority of my quotes come from and many of my insomnia-induced TV sessions result in viewing the following shows:

Supernatural

Friends

True Blood

3rd Rock From the Sun

Archer

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia

Buffy

… to name a few … :-)
